Do I need to own equipment before you start?
No. We can source lights, cameras, acoustic panels, and mounts at cost through our supplier network in Austin. You are also welcome to use your own gear — we integrate either way. During the free survey, we audit what you already own and build a shopping list for anything missing. You approve every item before we order.
Will this damage the walls or violate my lease?
We use removable mounting solutions wherever possible: tension-mounted acoustic panels, freestanding light stands, and adhesive cable raceways that peel off cleanly. For permanent installs, we discuss landlord approval first and provide a written scope of work you can share with your property manager. In three years of operation, we have never had a deposit dispute.
How loud is the construction phase?
Most of our work is assembly and mounting — drilling, hanging, and wiring. We keep power tools to a minimum and can schedule around your household or roommate routines. If you live in an apartment with thin walls, we can split the build across two quieter half-days instead of one intensive session.
Can you match my existing brand colors?
Yes. We calibrate RGB fixtures to your exact hex codes and save them as presets in the control app. Whether your brand is neon pink, forest green, or corporate blue, your room will match your overlays and social profiles. We also advise on wall paint and backdrop colors that complement your lighting palette on camera.
What happens if something breaks after launch?
Every build includes 30 days of post-launch support. If a light fails, a cable comes loose, or a preset stops working, we come back and fix it at no extra charge. Studio packages include 60 days. After the support window, we offer a maintenance retainer or per-visit service at our standard labor rate.
Do you work outside Austin city limits?
We service Austin and the surrounding suburbs within a 30-mile radius: Round Rock, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Leander, and Buda. Travel outside this zone incurs a flat $75 trip fee, disclosed before booking. For remote consultations outside Texas, we offer a video survey and a detailed self-install guide, but we do not travel out of state.
How do I prepare the room before your team arrives?
Clear the floor space, remove fragile items from shelves, and make sure we have access to power outlets and Wi-Fi. You do not need to move furniture — we handle heavy lifting. If you are in an apartment with a loading dock or elevator reservation, let us know when booking so we can coordinate delivery of large panels or desk frames.
Do you offer financing or payment plans?
We require a 50% deposit to book your build date, with the remaining 50% due on completion. For Studio packages, we can split the balance into two payments across 30 days at no extra cost. We do not currently offer third-party financing, but we are happy to phase the work across multiple visits if budget is tight.
